Dr. Yvonne Hua
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Yvonne Hua is from San Jose, California and started out with a BA in Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in early childhood education; however, she always knew she belonged in healthcare. Starting with a job at a chiropractic office in 2017, her eyes were opened to chiropractic through the doctors' and staff's points of view and decided to go into Chiropractic. Dr. Yvonne Hua graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, West Campus in March 2022. During her last two quarters of schooling, she had the privilege to complete her student clerkship/internship within the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System (VAPAHCS) and gain experience by treating our veterans. In November 2022, she moved down to LA County and was working in Ontario at a clinic that was solely industrial medicine/workers' compensation. She moved back to the Bay, in Oakland, by April 2023.
She specializes in diversified technique and believes in myofascial release and muscle work to be the foundation of her treating style, which also includes IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) and cupping. She has the passion to be a well-rounded provider, helping any and every person in all families.
She is currently certified in and/or has taken Rocktape, FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab), with future goals to receive her certifications in CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist), Webster Technique, and ART (Active Release Technique).
In her free time, Dr. Hua loves powerlifting/weightlifting, cooking, reading, watching movies, photography, music, and seeing loved ones. She truly believes MOVEMENT IS LIFE.
